2. Intellectual Property

The name RAÍZ, the logo, and all content (texts, dish photography, recipes, and Franco-Spanish fusion culinary concepts) are the exclusive property of the editor. Any reproduction or use without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.

3. General Terms of Service

These terms govern all services provided by RAÍZ (Private Chef, culinary events, delivery and gastronomic services).

3.1 Booking and Payment

A date is only considered booked once a deposit of [30% or 50%] of the total amount has been received.

The remaining balance must be paid [on the day of the service / 24h in advance].

3.2 Cancellation Policy and Right of Withdrawal

Under Article 103 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (Spain):

No right of withdrawal: The standard 14-day withdrawal period does not apply to catering services scheduled for a specific date nor to perishable food products prepared to order.

Cancellation fees:

• Cancellation > 7 days: Deposit refunded.

• Cancellation between 7 days and 48h: Deposit retained by RAÍZ.

• Cancellation < 48h: 100% of the total service fee becomes due.

3.3 Allergies and Food Safety

The client agrees to inform RAÍZ of any allergy or dietary intolerance at least 72 hours before the service. RAÍZ declines all responsibility for allergic reactions resulting from information not communicated in advance.

The Chef holds a valid Food Handler Certificate.

3.4 Seasonality Clause (Km0)

Due to our commitment to local products (Km0), RAÍZ reserves the right to modify an ingredient in the menu if unavailable from partner producers, always ensuring equivalent quality.

4. Privacy and Discretion in the Client’s Home

RAÍZ guarantees absolute discretion during services performed in the client's home.

Privacy: No information, image, or detail about the client's home or private life will be disclosed.

Personal Data (GDPR): Data is used solely for order management and is never shared with third parties.

5. Liability and Insurance

RAÍZ is covered by a Professional Civil Liability Insurance.

The Chef undertakes to leave the kitchen in its initial state of cleanliness.

The client is responsible for ensuring that the equipment provided (oven, stove, etc.) is functional.

6. Consumer Information (Andalusia)

Official Complaint Forms: In accordance with Andalusian Decree 82/2022, official complaint forms are available to clients.

Online Dispute Resolution: Pursuant to EU Regulation 524/2013 Art. 14.1, the European dispute resolution platform is accessible here: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/

7. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by Spanish law. Any dispute regarding interpretation or execution will be submitted to the courts of the city of Seville..
